When should I replace my windows?
Not sure when to replace your windows?
Here are some tips to help you decide...
•   Determine how many panes of glass are in your window. Single paned windows are the least energy efficient. With a double-paned or triple-paned ENERGY STAR compliant window you will enhance the energy efficiency and make your home more comfortable in all seasons.
•   Look for condensation inside the glass on double or triple glazed windows. This could indicate seal failure.
•   Do your windows operate with ease. If they are hard to open and close or they do not stay open, this is a good indication that you need new windows.
•  Do you notice light coming through the cracks in your window? If so, this can indicate seal failure and most likely energy loss.
•   Is your home noisy? If so, laminated glass replacement windows could cut down on the noise.
•  If you live in an old home and your windows have weights in them. These are usually single paned windows and very drafty. Time to consider replacing your windows as you are losing energy.
